DumpTime is developed and operated by SpoonScan LLC, a Nevada limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with the DumpTime mobile application (“App”) and the DumpTime website at dumptime.app (“Website”).
DumpTime has two modes of operation: a local-only mode and an optional social mode. The core App works entirely on your device with no account required. The optional social features (friends, leaderboard, notifications) require creating an account via Sign in with Apple.
The following data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us unless you opt into social features:
All analytics displayed in the App (streaks, personality profiles, charts, hourly patterns, and DumpScore ratings) are computed entirely on your device from locally stored timestamps. No behavioral profiling, machine learning, or external processing is involved.
If you choose to create an account and use social features (friends, leaderboard, notifications), the following data is collected and stored on our servers:
We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or any third-party tracking services.

Social feature data is stored on Supabase, a cloud database service, hosted in the United States (West US region). All data is protected by Row Level Security (RLS) policies that ensure users can only access their own data and their friends' data. Push notification tokens are stored in a separate secured table that is not accessible to other users. All communication between the App and our servers uses HTTPS encryption.
If you enable push notifications, you will receive alerts when your friends log a dump. Notifications contain only app-generated text (e.g., “username just dumped”) and do not contain any user-generated content. You can disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings app. You will only receive notifications from users you have accepted as friends.
The App assigns a “dump personality” based on your usage patterns. This is calculated entirely on your device using simple conditional logic. No data is sent externally. Personalities are for entertainment purposes only and do not reflect any medical or psychological assessment.
The App supports Apple's Siri Shortcuts for hands-free logging. All voice processing is performed by Apple's Siri service on your device. DumpTime does not receive, store, or process any voice data. For details on how Apple handles Siri data, see apple.com/privacy.
The App includes features that generate shareable images (stats card, leaderboard card) on your device. These images are created locally and are not transmitted to us. The App also allows you to share an invite link (dumptime.app/add/username) to connect with friends. If you share content via third-party platforms, that sharing is governed by those platforms' privacy policies.
The App uses the following third-party services for social features only:
The App does not integrate with any advertising, analytics, or tracking services. The Website (dumptime.app) loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address per Google's privacy policy. The Website does not use cookies or tracking scripts.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We have never sold personal information and will never sell personal information. Your username and dump counts are visible only to users you have accepted as friends. Your push notification token is never visible to other users. We may disclose data if required by law, but given the minimal and anonymous nature of the data we collect, such requests would yield limited information.
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings menu within the App. Deleting your account permanently removes all of your data from our servers, including your profile, username, dump history, friend relationships, block list, and push notification token. This action cannot be undone. Local data on your device remains until you uninstall the App.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use social features. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at the address below and we will promptly delete the account.
Under the CCPA and CPRA, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, opt out of sales, correct inaccurate information, and limit use of sensitive information.
The only identifier we collect is an anonymous Apple-generated user ID and a self-chosen username. We do not collect real names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers. We do not sell or share data for targeted advertising. You may request deletion of your account data at any time via the App or by emailing support@dumptime.app. We will respond within 30 days.
For users in the EEA, our lawful basis for processing social feature data is your consent, which you provide by creating an account and opting into social features. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
Your rights under GDPR include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Social feature data is stored on servers in the United States. You may exercise any right by using the account deletion feature in the App or by contacting support@dumptime.app. We will respond within 30 days.
Local data is stored on your device for as long as the App is installed. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all local data. Social feature data is stored on our servers for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account permanently removes all server-side data. Declined friend request records are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
Local data security is governed by your device's security measures. Server-side data is protected by Row Level Security policies, HTTPS encryption, JWT authentication, and rate limiting. Push notification tokens are stored separately from public profile data and are not accessible to other users. We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a passcode or biometric lock.
DumpTime is provided for entertainment purposes only. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind. Features including horoscopes, fortune cookies, personalities, and statistics are generated for fun and have no medical, psychological, or predictive validity. If you have health concerns, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
